Going to ignore the Colton signing.

But what was wrong with COL goaltending last playoffs? Lol 2.6gaa and .914sv% are respectable numbers.

They were killed by injuries, plain and simple

Just to put a finer point of how out-of-touch the "need better goaltending" comment is:

Georgie played in 62 games last season (because Frankie was hurt for a long stretch, he probably played about 8-12 games more than the Avs would have liked). He was one of only seven goalies to play 60+ games (only 17 goalies played 50+ games). Of the goalies that played 60+ games, his SV% was 5th highest; all of those players make more money than Georgie, some of them a LOT more. For what the Avs pay Georgie, he gives them top-10 level goaltending which is tremendous value.
