Salary Cap Mode: Basic

I think Dvorak is supposed to be out for the start of the season, but I think he fits nicely as a 3rd line center for us (until we can trade him).

1st Line: Suzuki and Caufield are a great duo, but need someone strong to go in to the corners to retrieve pucks and I think RHP can be that guy. My only concern is that he's also a smaller player, but if needed we can move Dach up to the top line and Monahan would be the second line center.

2nd Line: I don't know too much about Newhook's game, but he seems like he could be a good shooter that has the game-breaking ability (like McDavid, Mackinnon, etc but to a much lower level). Pairing him with a guy who can win the board battles and move the puck like Dach could be a great duo. With that, I think Slaf has to play in the top 6 with great players if he's going to take a step this season, so he becomes the last piece on the line.

3rd Line: Monahan is basically all the creativity, and it will be his job to feed the puck to Hoffman and Anderson (who will be the shooters). Normally, I would say the third line should be a good checking line but these guys will just be another scoring (who needs defense when your tanking anyway). Best case scenario is that Hoffman and Monahan find some chemistry and are both dealt at the TDL. Afer that, I could see Dvorak and maybe a call up from Laval on this line (Ferrall, Roy, etc).

4th Line: Some spare parts and Gally. Because his contract is unmovable, we should keep him as he seems like a great guy in the locker room and has the tenacity that you want on your fourth line. This line would rotate all our spare parts, but other than hopefully some Evan's growth, I dont see this line doing anything special.
