I think Nino would be a great fit, but he probabaly gets more, especially with retention. If Tampa turns the 3rd into a 2nd and adds a 4th or a 5th+someone like Fortier/ABB, maybe. Since Cooper probabaly won't give any of the younger players much of a shot anyway based on most of his time as coach, using one as a trade chip to actually fill the top 6 hole they still have e seems fine. It would've been nice to do that kind of trade and run a 22 player roster, but overpaying Jeannot by 500k or so ended that hope(unless Tampa involves a 3rd team for additional retention on Niederreiter).
