Pens latest offer for Karlsson...

You say no way and I think this is an overpayment for EK... from any team. The value's been set by Pit and Car and it's not very high. It'll come down to how much the Sharks want to move him. The sharks don't want to hold on to him and risk him getting hurt or losing value. They also don't want him winning games for them while they're in tank mode. At this point in the game, be prepared to be very underwhelmed with what the return will be for EK.

In my Opinion the offers our going to get smaller because there will be less teams bidding for Karlsson. I think the amount retained will need to come down to around 3.5 million. That would be the Penguins best offer.

From what i hear now, they are getting a third team involved to take over some more of the cap $$.
