Description

Coyotes will run 11-7 most nights. Allows them to shelter guys like Durzi and Brown while giving more opportunity for their young forwards to take control of things.

Kerfoot will be in the lineup pretty much every night but will easily slide up to give guys a rest/take someones spot if an injury occurs. Boyd/Carcone/O'Brien will be the guys vying for the 12th/13th forwards on the roster unless someone like Jenik pushes them out.

Defense is still a bit suspect but ultimately hoping for another year of development from Moser, Soderstrom, Valimaki and Durzi plus guys like Kolyachonok and Kesselring hopefully push for roster spots as the year goes on.

One of the better teams the Coyotes have iced since their WCF run back in 2012. Were one of the worst puck possession teams in the league last year but hopefully that improves this year with the additions of Zucker and Kerfoot plus a full year of Guenther.

like it - somehow like to see maccelli w guenther - playmaker and sniper together but need a veteran C w them, maybe zuck and maccelli switch, im sure bear will figure out

That Maccelli - McBain - Crouse line was great towards the end of the season last year. No reason not to start them together this year. One of the nice things about only running 11 forwards is you can easily give guys a shift off and shuffle the lines on the fly.
