He played mostly in the ECHL last year. I'm not sure it is a good use of one of your 50 contracts. Providence Bruins should have signed him instead.

They would have lost his signing rights if that happened and he would have been free to sign anywhere.

He could end up being the backup in Providence and teams sometimes end up using 5 goalies during a season so it's fine.

True, and he demanded a trade by the Canucks because he thought he wasn't being given a chance to develop in their system, so he would have left he if could.

Yeah, it likely won't be an issue for Boston, but it could be, so I can't really vote yes on this poll. I also can't vote no, so I'm abstaining.
