only change i would do is swap Marchenko and Jack, to go with a youth 2nd line. I could even see marchenko being on 1st line with Laine on the 2nd. Otherwise i agree this is most likely.

I hope Jarmo doesn't make the same mistake in sending a great Russian prospect coming over to the AHL to start the season for too long (16 games in Marchenko's case). Voronkov can make a day 1 impact based off what we saw from him last year in the KHL. Voronkov in the AHL should be 10 games max even if we don't get injuries. If Robinson or Olivier start slow kick them to the curb and bring up someone who will compete. We have great depth right now, any players not giving it their all can be scratched very easily.

I don’t know if babs would want to have the youth line. Plus maybe he uses Fantilli and roslovic both as centers or alternating at that position.

I would agree and I would however I think they have the hard on for Robinson and I think Tex comes back and takes a top 9 spot. Plus that would mean we waive one of foudy Robinson or Olivier which I don’t think they want to do.

I think Foudy is going to be sent to the AHL to start the season. Players are less likely to be claimed if sent down when every other team is trying to trim their own rosters, and once they pass through waivers once they can be sent down without waivers if they get called up for less than 30 days. Similar to what we did with Bemstrom last season.

That’s fair, I think a team like Chicago or San Jose would take a chance on him. He’s young and finally found his scoring touch (for his role). Bemstrom was older at the time and had more chances to prove himself. Either way it’s not a large loss but I don’t see the team wanting to loose him for nothing. Bad perception.

I agree, Marchenko for Jack. I dont think Laine drops to 2nd line though, if Marchenko goes up a line, its because Laine went 1C IMO. Laine said he'd like to try that position, never know. I dont see it happening but I guess its CBJ lol.

Yeah he said he would be willing, but if we are at the point where that is our best option, then i think we are in trouble. I will be super disappointed if Jarmo doesnt address our obvious need for a top 6 C this offseason.
