Description
1- salary dump, Poliout is still a decent bottom 6 forward we would also include prospect Tyler Benson + 2018 3rd and 5th Rd pick to acquire Draisaltl's fellow German.

2- much like the Taylor hall trade least off season. Trading away RNH to acquire a decent TOP 4 RH defenceman in Damon Severson , ( 80 games played, 3 goals, 28 assists) this deal would also include Kyle Palmeri, he hasn't really panned out well in NJ'S system , so off loading his contract would prove beneficial. Anton Slepyshev has proven he can skate full time at the nhl level with his post season performance so packaging him with RNH prospect ethan bear + 2020 1st Rd, 2019 3rd Rd pick and mark fayne (bad contract for bad contract with 44% retained salary)

3- with a gapping hole down the middle at the 3rd centre spot top 9 forward Riley Sheahan would fit the bill , we can swap him for Khaira and a 2019 2nd Rd pick

Palmeri had 51 points last year, so he's not doing bad. Devils have no reason to trade a defenseman and one of their top scoring forwards.

Yeah not sure where you're getting that Palmieri hasn't worked in our system. He's had the best two years of his career here and is arguably our most valuable forward behind Hall.
