I think that’s honestly what trotz would want back fro him though. Would he get it is a question none of us knows because gms get desperate. Hell we got a 2nd for granlund during a down year from him.

Canucks fans on this site are so difficult to talk to. Will try and dump players like Garland on us for one of Carrier or Fabbro, but the second I suggest that a 25 year old RFA defenseman who can log top 4 minutes is worth a mid 2nd they lose their minds.

We got a 2nd for players like Granlund and an entire draft class for Tanner Jeannot, but let's flip the thread upside down because I said Fabbro could net us a 2025 second lmfao.

You got a 2nd for Granlund because Hextall was an idiot, and now he's out of a job. Trotz ain't getting a 2nd for Fabbro from any GM in their right mind

Durzi, whos a defensive catastrophe just got a 2nd from a rebuilding team, and likely COULD have net LAK more if they weren't in a hurry to clear cap. But it's suddenly foreign to suggest Fabbro can't get the same kind of retrun? He took a step back in his usage this season but the season prior was a defensive weapon on a pairing with Josi. This isn't coming out of nowhere or us overvaluing our players. Poile also kicked tires on moving him at the deadline but opted to keep him, I don't think it's crazy to suggest he'd get a 2nd lmfao.

Durzi is a younger and already better player than Fabbro, not to mention more upside as well

They are polar opposite players though. Durzi is a puck mover and Fabbro is more defensively sound. And as we've seen, GM's LOVE their DFD's. Just stop.

Fabbro is NOT defensively sound. He can't hold his own against top competition

What? He held is own in a 2nd pairing role this season and in the season prior held his own against the top QoC on a pairing with Josi? You don't even know what you're talking about.

Also neither can Durzi but he still got a 2nd LOL

Josi and Fabbro didn't get the toughest matchups, LOL yourself. Ekholm and Carrier got that assignment, and then after Ekolm was traded, that role went to McDonagh

Wrong. The quality of comp was split amongst the top 4 that year. Fabbro logged 19 TOI beside Josi most of the season and helped elevate his offensive game that helped get him 90 points.

McDonagh also never got the top QoC. He was in a sheltered role under Hynes because his game has since regressed due to his age and he's gotten slower in his feet. He played a defensive role, but rarely ever against top comp.

You're talking just to talk tears of joy

If you don't think Fabbro can't get a mid 2nd then that's your opinion. But at least know how our team was run before you try and make false claims.

Durzi is younger, better, slightly cheaper, and actually has offensive upside. He put up 38 points in 72 games. Of course he would get a better return

Also judging by how your "Vatrano for Granlund" ACGM is currently getting shredding to bits, I'm going to dismiss you as somebody who just likes to hear themselves speak lmfao.

How do you know that I'm the problem and not a majority of other forum guests over there aren't the problem? Life isn't all about majority rules, there is a reason that the North American court systems don't have a majority system, if the jury can't all agree on one verdict, then the trial has what's called a "hung jury" on it's hands. Majority rules does not equate to identifying right from wrong

Whatever keeps you guys away from conducting nonsensical harassment. You're the one who chose to toxify this debate, I never asked for that

Canucks fans said “not paying that much” and you start calling them salty and toxic. Usually if you want to talk to someone you don’t start with that
