Detroit declines. Maybe 1 for 1 if Pittsburgh retains on Petry, but the only way Detroit adds a 2nd is if they are getting a 1st in return.

Petry is an infinitely more valuable player on his contract than Chiarot is. A 1 for 1 deal would only be considered IF part of a three way deal for Karlsson. Otherwise, it's an atrocious deal for PIT.
