Description

Leafs fans will say it's not enough. Flames fans will say it's not enough. Either the value doesn't work, or doesn't really make sense in terms of how the rest of the lineup is built. Someone will always find an excuse or a reason as to why this doesn't make sense.

Thing is, these two pending UFAs are both in a situation where they either don't want to re-sign with their former team, or their former team can't afford to keep them around.

I say just do it, and see what happens. Fact is, they need to do something about it. We very rarely get big balls moves because GMs are too afraid of the consequences. These two GMs have history together, to maybe finding a common ground here isn't too difficult.

It works for me, I think Nylander and Lindholm both have about the same value on the trade market.
