looks like year 1 of the new regime is complete and they crushed it going in to year 2, their coming out from under Benning's mis-managment and are on the cusp of really shaping this team for their vision
OEL gone, Myers, Pearson done this year, cap going up, 4 or 5 prospects to see how they develop. no long term contracts to weigh the team down

there is a log jam @ fwd for sure, especially with Pearson and Mikheyev being healthy. but some expiring contracts and trades can easily fix that.

look at that D though, should be much improved IMO
Departing - OEL, Schenn, Burroughs
Arriving - Hronek, Soucy, Cole

i don't think their standings results will improve much but I think their PP, PK, GF and GA will be better this year.
