Defense is about the last thing Calgary would be looking for if they trade Lindholm. Columbus getting him would have to start with Johnson, Marchenko or Sillinger.

Sillinger is the only hope out of those 3, the other 2 would never happen. Im not sure the FO is willing to move on from Sillinger yet. It would be interesting to see what other offers CAL gets, cause i dont think there are many teams that could put together a trade package that Cbus couldnt beat.

I think the issue is if CBJ wants to beat the other offers. Since what each team can offer varies greatly, they may want more from CBJ because CBJ had better assets to offer

Yeah thats true, i laugh everytime is see a trade on here with BOS trading for Lindholm cause the price is so much lower than the trades with CBJ.
