NSH declines. Not giving up a younger and cheaper player along with a 3rd round pick (which is probably what Jarny is worth now) for Jarny who only scored about 10 points more over the 73 games (Sherwood was on pace for about 15 goals, 14 assists over 73 games). A retooling NSH values that pick more than having slightly more scoring now

Fair, but I'd disagree that Jarn is just worth a 3rd now. My thought here more is just Toronto getting a cheaper player and a pick back for a solid secondary scorer that can play up and down the lineup. I also just like Sherwood grin

Makes sense. Just right now he doesn't make sense for where NSH is going. More of a wrong time type deal, even though I enjoyed Jarny during his time in NSH and I think a reunion tour would be fun, just not the right deal or time for NSH.
