Lower the retain on EK65 to 40% and Sharks should (but probably won't) take it. Can't wait for an EK65 trade to be done. Starting to think it may never happen.

That's a no from the Flyers. TK is worth more, and the chance the Flyers or Penguins agree to trade is less than none.

That is true when both are in the same competitive cycle; but PHI will trade with whoever if it gets then the most assets right now. Whether this is enough for PHI is a different question...

I'd prefer trading with whoever as long as the package is good enough for what they want. Of course I wouldn't be the most estatic to see TK as a Pen or a Rag but if the return is helpful for our future than bias needs to be put aside.

Thanks for the feedback. I wonder if a second to CHI for 15% retained would solve the issue?

Thanks for the feedback. I feel like this is a difficult one to evaluate as Hayes was shipped for nothing, but hopefully this can start the conversation if it was of interest for both sides.

Probably not because 15% of 60% of Karlsson for 4 years is $4.14M which is probably worth a 1st. However you already have Pittsburg unloading Petry and Granlund which should give them enough cap space to fit EK at 40%. At least for the first two years.
