SJS says yes, Sens fans say fire Dorion

Speaking as someone that owns a pricey EK65 Sens jersey and goes to every SJ game at the CTC when he's back, Sens need to move on.

EK65 has had one good year where he wasn't riddled with injuries since leaving Ottawa. Yes, he won the Norris. love that for him. People complaining that Chabot is injury prone need to look at EK's history. Sens issue isn't offense, it's defense. EK ain't the best defensive defenseman. If you're trading Chabot (which you shouldn't) it should be for a big defensive stalwart.

How about Sens don't trade Chabot when his value is at it's lowest, keep him to see how he manages when he's not asked to carry the defense and play 30+ mins a night? Let's see if he's less injury prone when more rested?

We're saying fire Dorion anyway. But this might be a generous trade placing too much value on Sharks retaining salary, effectively having Karlsson at the same cap hit instead of Chabot for the next 4 years, and them taking Joseph's contract.

I'd take a swing at Luke Kunin too, coming off ACL surgery but think he'd make for a great 3rd line with Greig and Pinto. Ship Kubalik the other way to balance salary.

I generally agree, could make the same argument for Joseph as well. Chabot should rebound with the our top 4 coming together, Sanderson and Zub taking heavy minutes. I'm just thinking with the Tarasenko move and Giroux having a couple good years left, Karlsson at the same cap hit as Chabot gets us closer to a cup. Assuming Karlsson is closer to the player who played 82 games last year, and not around 50 games each season before that, it would be worth it imo.
