Nemec is going to be a top 10 defenseman in this league I am very confident in that. He will obviously be 3RD next year but if he proves how good he is he might force himself higher very quickly. May just spell the end of Marino or Hamilton. A very, very good problem to have.

The devils did everything right. Siegenthaler and Marino were analytical gods waiting to breakout, Fitz acquired them for cheap and gave them opportunity and now they’re huge pieces. It actually doesn’t make sense how there are 0 holes in that defense… plus the devils could’ve kept Graves and Severson but didn’t even need to because they had so much other talent. Just crazy.

Yeah we are very fortunate as fans to be in such a promising situation. It was a long time coming let me tell you. The Devils have never had this much talent from top to bottom. Even their cup winning teams. We are lucky to have Fitzgerald as our GM because imo he has to be the best in the game, at least top 3
