Grzelcyk is not worth anything more than one fourth round pick. His contract is horrible and is only for one year. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets traded for "future considerations."

But to your point, no I don’t see Zboril playing all 82 games. Lohrei takes over that spot midway through the season, or even sooner if injuries happen.

your out of ur mind if you think zboril is better than forbort trust me forbort sucked in the playoffs but zboril isnt even half as good and lohrei be called up is wishful thinking not a guarantee could have a struggle year like lysell

Forbort in the minors is to clear us space. If Zboril struggles, then we have a small amount of cap space (~1.5m) to acquire a bottom pairing guy at low cost. Zboril and Forbort are basically on the same level imo. The only standout is that Forbort is more physical but Zboril is much faster and can play either side so it kinda cancels out. I don't think Zboril will cost us more games than Forbort will considering the amount of playing time either would get on a nightly basis. Forbort is likely the next Mike Reilly. Nobody wants him and he takes up space on the cap and the roster.
