Really hard to judge how good of a prospect Svechkov is right now. He wasn't even an honorable mention in Scott Wheeler's top 50 prospect list either. It's already hard enough to get good info out of Russia right now and he barely played too. Do you have any info on how he looked at development camp? I would probably be open to a trade like this though if he isn't looking like a bust

I tend to go most of my info on prospects from Dobber hockey, he usually is pretty good at updating player’s profile yearly. He just released one last month on svechkov.
Consensus is he still is on pace to be a top 6 Center that is very reliable defensively but can still chip in offence at a solid pace.

Personally I see him being like a danault esce player.

Dobber has compared him to the likes of getzlaf/Kessler/staal/ Hayton throughout his updates. So kind of on the same track of a strong 2 way Center
