You're missing one thing...... you have over 10 mil in LTIR used here and are 12 mil in negative cap space that leaves 2 mil. kind of a bind.

Swap Minten with Holmberg but point is made regardless and is correct. Tired of these Nylander for no value trades because "they need to clear cap"

Issue is you cannot call any of them up with that little cap room. You can trade Jarnkrok, but you are dealing from a position of weakness.

I know, but the way I like to look at it is these players can come up and down from the Marlies no questions asked, should someone go down.

Well Usually when a man goes down, you can place them on LtiR, I'm googling the rules right now, but again. This was made just to show that we can be Cap compliant, and again. If it was me, I'd work out a trade for Brodie and Jarnkrok. Sign Dumba to a 1 year deal and Give Timmins a good look this year. I'll work on a new one where I try to do this

for LTIR they need to be out for at least 10 games and 24 days so sickness or lesser injury's like day to day do not allow them that flexibility

Okay and you're still 2 mil over the cap with your remaining players....... You think Timmons is going to clear waivers without someone claiming him? Sending down Homberg and Robertson only clears up a lil over 1 mil and leaves you 400K over with 20/23 roster spots taken. Leafs are in a bind not a huge one, but Timmons or Jarnkrok are casualties.

You can go over LTIR by any limit. There is no limit as to how much can go on LTIR

True, but the actual roster is over what is going on LTIR by over 2 million...... unless Leafs circumvent cap rules they're still currently 2 mil over cap.

It's like he made the contract and Timmons disappear which tbf he would cause all 31 other teams would say claim immediately

So Assuming since he mentioned giving Timmons a serious look Leafs need to clear about 1 mil in cap for injury purposes and to be under the cap itself cause by clearing 1 mill you then at least have 600K to work injuries with. Which still isn't a lot.
