Canes don't have the RD depth to do this. Canes are what, a single piece away from the cup? They need a RD back that's of better or equal quality. Broberg is maybe a B- prospect if I'm being generous... I don't hate a 1st and Broberg as a starting point, but the Canes have 0 interest in the guy they dumped in Edmonton 2 years ago. No thanks

Niemelainan isn't an upgrade from Seeler so the Flyers won't pay a draft pick to acquire him or to move Seeler, so no deal.
