What’s the plan going forward? To me, this should be our lineup. Clearly we are over the cap so I’d have to imagine a Granlund move soon. The bottom 6 is our biggest question mark. I think the defense is pretty solid and I think the competition for DeSmith and Ned will elevate both of their games. Possibly even elevate Jarry. I like that we have multiple cusp players that are fighting for spots in the bottom 6 (Johnsson, Hinostroza, Nylander, Poulin. Puustinen, O’Connor, Zohorna, and Koppanen). I don’t see what our next move is. Granlund is going to be a pain to move and I believe we lost our 2nd buyout window since we avoided the O’Connor arb.
Let me know what you guys think the game plan is from here on out.
Buyout window doesn't open again until 72 hours after contract was signed. It'll be open 48 hours again. If the buyout period passes without anything happening, you're probably looking at the lineup. Maybe an unexpected LTIR to Carter would be the only significant movement.

So we didn’t lose it since we signed O’Connor before the hearing?

Yes. Any settlement/award opens a second buyout window. It will open Saturday morning (8/5/2023) and will last for 48 hours. So keep an eye out this weekend for a Granlund buyout.
