Not totally screwed even with those cap hits. Strome and Puljujarvi are cheap and could be great plus if Lucic can keep it up this will still be a very scary team.

Puljujarvi is on for one more year, then he's in for a raise. If strome ends up being great, then he'll get a raise too. Lastly, what do you mean if lucic can keep it up? He's not good...

I just mean not immediatly screwed. They can always trade Nugget-Hopkins when Puljujarvi is up for a raise and Pouliot is only on the books for a year. Lucic is way over paid but if he can contribute for a 2-3 more years this team will still be dangerous. They are in some trouble but will still be competitive. This is coming from a Flames fan who wishes they were totally screwed and they still could be... They better be!!! Go Flames! LOL cheers
