There was mention of a possible buyout of either Granlund or Petry, Supposedly that's why Friedman said that something could happen by weekend on the Karlsson front. I saw it mentioned on Hockeyfutures of a potential buyout of Granlund. But you're right nothing has been confirmed yet on Granlund being on waivers.

Granlund is a good player, anyone who expects him to score 20+ goals haven't been paying attention to his career, he still can put up 40 to 45 points.
