My hot take is liljegrens going to be the next Lidstrom..stay tuned, high pts season this year coming maybe top line with Reilly.

No one will ever be the next Lidstrom. That guy was special. I used to be in awe watching him play. He actually improved with age! Not many players can make the game look easy but he was one of them. 😁

Me too actually I just looked at his point totals I take back ever thinking Liljegren can be that good holy smokes but I think he can be a top pair shutdown and chip in and have an amazing season lol

And Lidstrom was just as dominant defensively as he was offensively. There was literally nothing he couldn't do. I'll always rate Bobby Orr and Doug Harvey as #1 and #2 on my all time D list. But give me #5 Lidstrom for #3. 😁

You guys should have seen Denis Potvin play. I'm not saying that he was BETTER than Lidstrom, but he's in the HoF for a reason.
