- I can't see anywhere else to play Tarasenko. He needs to score to be useful so his best chance would be with these 2

- I would swap Giroux and Kubalik. Norris and Giroux are by FAR our 2 best 2-way forwards, can't afford to have them on the same line, would make the other lines too weak defensively. Giroux hasn't played LW in a while if I'm not mistaken. Plus, he'd be perfect to mentor Greig and Pinto and make that line an ES threat.

- Kubalik would score nicely on Norris-Batherson LW. I'd trade him at the dealine for a good return and also Brannstrom for a similar young top-9 2-way forward, who then would take Kubalik's spot.

- I would trade Kubalik for a pick now though, to be able to afford a 21 men roster lol

- Seriously, starting Kelly and MacEwen in the AHL would not be a bad move if we have no choice. They're probably close to useless at the NHL level anyway. Could afford to give more TOI to these 11 forwards, they are all quality enough


For defense I would do :

Chabot - Chychrun
Sanderson - JBD
Brannstrom - Zub
Hamonic

or

Sanderson - Chychrun
Chabot - Zub
Brannstrom - Hamonic/JBD


Gotta help Chabot a little bit, need him to have a big season. Either by lowering his responsibilities (2nd pair with Zub) or upgrading his partner (I like Zub but he's more 2nd pairing level)

Aside from the issue with injuries and not enough players on the roster, isn't it best to keep Giroux on Stützle's line for face offs?
