How is this possibly worse? Bjorkstrand will not get as many points but he is a two way player which we need . Larsson is better then Brodie and Peeke is better then Liljegren. So how exactly is that getting worse? Plus Tatar is a good two way player who had almost 50 points last year. Add up all the projected points from this group of forwards compared to what we lost from last year and this much better while adding more defense and hitting. Everyone forgets we also added Bertuzzi and Domi who will easily replace the points we lost with Bunting and Kerfoot.

You have to just be one of the many trolls posing as a Leafs fan. All leaf players suck and anyone else on any team is better somehow. Liljegren played in the top 4 for a good month last season and was good. Peeke was asked to play top 4 in Columbus and was absolutely obliterated all the time. Peeke isn't better than anyone TO has. And Larsson for Hall clearly taught you nothing. Bjorkstrand was a cap dump, isn't all that great defensively and is less than half the player Nylander is. Also Bunting and Kerfoot didn't create offence, they got offence by playing with guys who create chances. Nylander, Marner and Matthews are 3 of the best play drivers in the league. Those are the only 3 forwards that just can be replaced. Moving any of them for secondary players who will never produce without the stars will have a major impact on the team.

I watch every year why we lost and this year it was very obvious our 3 biggest weakness were at the back end namely Holl, Brodie and Giordano being exposed and out matched. Then Marner literally tried the exact same play every time he tried to gain entry in playoffs and the opponent stacked the side and Marner turned the puck over every time. Toronto had no dump and chase every time they try to carry the puck in because we had a team scared to go in the corners. Now we have players who are not scared to go in the corners and take a hit to make a play. But hey you seem to follow the Shanaplan of all skill no grit and you see how far that has gotten us so best of luck bud.

It's a common known fact that Nylander, Matthews and Marner are top end play drivers. No one can dispute this. It's what you can call a fact.
