Brannstrom is worth a lot more than a 3rd round pick, even a 2nd round pick would be a stupid trade. The 23 y/o has a 24 pts pace since he's 21 y/o and was Top-30 in defensive metrics last season among D-men, Top-20 in xGF% among the 213 D-men who played at least 500 minutes at ES. A bit more production and he could be a 30+ pts great 2-way D-man
I'd only trade him for a similar young rising 2-way forward. No rush as Kleven could spend a part of the season in the AHL to develop more.
Other problems in this ACGM :
- Tarasenko plays RW and they have asked Batherson and Giroux if one of them wouldn't mind moving to the LW to accommodate Tarasenko
- Same with Kubalik who mostly plays LW and Joseph who mostly plays RW
- Kelly and MacEwen are not very good and shouldn't be in the lineup at the same time. Actually, Sens fans gotta hope that Kelly plays in the AHL this season and Sens have a better 12th forward.
- Ridly Greig is 99.99% going to be in the line-up, in the top-9
- Sanderson is way too good to be on a 3rd pair. Chychrun (or someone else?) will have to play RD

Gagner is a downgrade for Kastelic. Kastelic is an energy player on the 4th line and is like 55% on the face off circle. Offence needs to be a bit better but should be with better players on his line.
Actually, 57%, which was Top-15 among regular NHL centers
He's also quite physical and good defensively, while having a scoring touch. His pts total are not great but it was his rookie season and he mostly played with a decline Austin Watson, a reserve forward in Parker Kelly and a declined/older Derrick Brassard, also Patrick Brown...
