It might be a deal that the Leafs like.......BUT. Leafs are in a win mode and losing Nylander while have Romanov and Pageau may not help on ice this year (over Nylander).
But in some ways don' think the Isles should do the trade either for one year of Nylander.

William Nylander > J G Pageau+Alexander Romanov.

Makes no sense for Toronto to trade Nylander for Pageau and Romanov. This is a clear downgrade.

Yep to me NYI makes no sense unless it was something around Pelech or Pulock but NYI will never agree to that.

They just dont fit the mold of what each side would want

This trade would make a lot of sense for TOR but I doubt NYI would accept unfortunately.
