If that D can hold up and make it easier on those goalies, and Levi can have even a decent year with UPL, think they make the playoffs. Not to mention with all of Buffalos good young F prospects, can move 1 and a pick to pick up another good Dman to pair with Power (probably next year) and move Clifton down to the 3rd pair. I have them at 3rd in Divison behind the Leafs and Tampa.

They definitely have the talent to be a scary team. Gotta put the finishing pieces to the puzzle together.
Here is my big bold prediction for next season 100 pts and they finish ahead of Tampa.
Power, Quinn, Peterka, Krebs, Levi (and possibly Greenway, Luukkonen) will all of breakout seasons as Cozen and Mittelstadt did last year.
Tampa's top 3 forwards plus GK Stamkos, Point, Kucherov and Vasilevskiy are better than Skinner, Tuch, Thompson and Levi.
Buffalo may have an edge of Dahlin and Power over Hedman and Sergachev.
The next tier of defensemen and forwards greatly favor the Sabres as it would be unlikely any GM would trade Samuelsson, Jokiharju, Clifton and Johnson for Prebix, Cole, Cernak and Bogosian.
I will certainly take Cozens, Mittelstadt, Peterka, Quinn, Olofsson over Hagel, Paul, Cerelli and ????
Buffalo got better by adding Johnson, Clifton and Levi while Tampa lost Killorn and Colton while Buffalo finished only 8 pts behind Tampa last year.
We will not see any NHL sports writer predicting the Sabres to finish second in the Atlantic but a similar comparison to Toronto, Florida or Boston again gives a nod to Buffalo's depth.
Yzerman made great offseason moves adding many players who have a connection to the Wings.
Ottawa did not lose much when they down graded from DeBrincat to Kubalik and they will have Chychrun the entire season.
We may see an entire changing of the guard this season, with five teams from the Atlantic making the playoffs.
