Hughes is arguably one of the most underrated d men in the league, and easily the most underrated on the Canucks. Consistently top of the league in points, and very solid defensive game, but some people don't even see him as a top 10 defenseman

I think Hughes is great after doing a little bit more research on him I don’t think he’s underrated or overrated I think he’s fairly rated in my opinion top 15 defensemen in the entire league but Kuzmenko petey and Miller all more underrated compared to Hughes

I'd say Kuzmenko is fairly rated. He had an amazing rookie season and most people know it. I can see the argument behind Miller as most underrated. I think its more of a fact that he is way overhated, even by the Canucks fanbase. I think Hughes will stay underrated as long as his "he can't defend" narrative from when he was 20 years old sticks around

How can u consider matthews top 5 when he’s arguably not even the best player on his team marner consistently puts up better numbers than matthews

They get more attention cuz of their chokes in the playoffs

That has nothing to do with anything I just said. As for their playoff success, well they are in the toughest division in the league. The Atlantic has been to the final for 5 straight cup. Who has had much success vs the top Atlantic team? A lot of people point to Carolina and the Islanders for being better models to follow but what have they won? A couple of rounds vs easier competition?
