The Sharks have roughly 1,000 NHL ready left shot defensemen, so this is a pass. Value isn't bad though.

Branny is way more vital to this team than Kubalik or Joseph. When we inevitably have injuries he can play top 4.

This and it's useless to trade him for another D-man. Trade him for a similar young rising 2-way forward. My target would have Tolvanen but we missed that boat it seems.

You trade Brannstrom when Kleven is ready to make an impact

But for this season, you trade Kubalik to get cap compliant or you play with LTIR (if injury? Or acquire a LTIR contract) and the number of players on the roster.
