No, he’s not signing that cheap. I hadn’t really thought that deep into it yet but yeah I think I’m giving him term and dollars. I signed him on a previous wings team back in June/July for 4 years $20,000,000 heavily frontloaded so we could trade his contract to Arizona if he can’t play it out. Thinking it over now that may be a bit much but I still like the idea of front loading a relatively longish term contract.

I saw it on YouTube first from a creator I had never seen before. Rinkside Digest who says. “This signing could be MASSIVE for the Red Wings”

There. I just copied that same deal.

The first and third lines make sense. There's a lot of question marks with this lineup already. I'm not sure anybody honestly knows what the lines are going to be because a lot of the wingers are interchangeable. If they sign Patrick Kane which I'm in favor of I'm not sure where Raymond will slot in the lineup. And he played right wing for most the last season. There is a legitimate chance that Patrick Kane signing leads to a trade or Raymond and Jonatan Berggren starting in the AHL. They're not going to scratch Klim Kostin as he is one of the only heavy players in the lineup. He could actually see time with Larkin and DeBrincat. They have him, Rasmussen and Soderblom. They also signed Christian Fischer. I don't think they want these smaller skilled players, Jonatan Berggren and Lucas Raymond in the bottom six, definitely not on your fourth line. They need to be top 6 guys and they are not good enough to play in the top six especially if you sign Patrick Kane. I find it hard to believe Lucas Raymond will be on a second or third line this season if he's not on the first line because he is really bad when he's not with Dylan Larkin. Essentially if you sign Patrick Kane that means Lucas Raymond will probably be traded or sent to the AHL. And I'm actually in favor of this because he was really bad for long stretches last season, in particular the last 30 games. If you don't believe me you can go look at his stats the last 30 games. You should go watch those games cus he was really bad.
