Description

After another purposeful tank this coming season, the following season will be about the young kids learning to play together without purposeful tanking. They won't make the playoffs, but they will be gaining a huge amount of experience to be ready to start competing in 25/26. Lines are only spit-balling.

Also, I think they make a big free agent move on the RW side next summer such as Nylander or Reinhart. OR maybe they wait until the following year and go big on Rantenen!

Moore I believe has a chance to play in the NHL after another year in the juniors.

At the draft next spring, fully expect the Hawks to take a RHD guy, there are several projected in the top 10 but took Mews as I could see him fitting well with Korchinski. Of course, the Hawks COULD get lucky and get Celebrini or Eiserman!

And you want to pay NYLANDER that kind of money…I’lll Seth Jones contract myself out if this one. Let’s hope Bedard is Crosby 2.0 and takes a 5 million dollar pay cut.

not a big fan of giving nylander 9.5 until hes 35. I think theres lot of talented vet FAs like a marchessault or eberle type that can play top line minutes and would take a short term deal, then like you said we can look at sign a super star in 2025 when we really start getting competitive.

Draft wise if the Levshunov hype continues through this season I think he'll be a lock for the hawks top choice if were picking 2-5.
