Yeah, Flyers say no. We need two firsts for TK. That’s the asking price, regardless how ridiculous it may seem.

Nope.

Look at the long-term results here: Zegras, Warren, Zellweger and Dostal are expected to be cornerstones of our future team. You've replaced them with Berggren, Konecny, Edvinsson and Cossa. I doubt that those four collectively are an upgrade on our own four, but even if they are, it comes at a cost of John Gibson, three useful depth players, our 2024 first (never happen) and three seconds -- an appallingly egregious waste of assets. The Winnipeg fleece is particularly awful for the Ducks. Renting Scheifele and Hellebuyck for one season is idiotic -- this team wouldn't win the first round of the 2024 playoffs with that defense.

A minor point -- Jamie Drysdale shouldn't get either that number or that term.

He will get traded someone will pay it eventually that being said there is no reason it should be Anaheim because you paying us two lottery picks for him would be insanity

Just curious, not hate. What teams do u actually support? 😂 I swear you were a LAK/Isles fan but now it’s Anaheim? I know you comment on loads of posts but I don’t remember you ever talking about Anaheim!

They'll want a good prospect in a TK trade, and the Ducks aren't necessarily in a spot to be trading prospects and picks.

I was a die-hard Islanders fan until I moved to Los Angeles in the 80's for professional reasons. Since it was virtually impossible to see most Islander games at that time, I started following my two local teams. But my appreciation for the Kings has plummeted after what I consider Rob Blake's butchery of the team this summer.

I'm going to investigate switching from cable tv to streaming services to see whether it's possible to get every Islander game on tv -- right now, adding the NHL channel would double my monthly bill from $200 to $400 because you can only buy NHL with about 100 other channels, none of which are remotely interesting.
