Maybe I'm wrong about that but thought that was an issue for him, he felt he was better and more comfortable playing down the middle.
Personally I'd have Bennett at 2C and Lundell at 3C with the plan to possibly from Bennett when his contract is up and have Lundell slide into the 2C role.

100% agree. While Lundell would benefit from having 2C minutes, there's no problem with "sheltering" him in the 3C role. He's already proven to be a great two way forward. Keeping him at 3C should only continue to improve his game. And while Bennett didn't fill the score sheet last season, he played outstanding at 2C. You also have to consider that Tkachuk has to be with them. As far as I'm concerned, Bennett and Tkachuk are inseparable after last season.

Tatar would be a good add but I would say they necessarily would be worse off without signing him. I still really like this team. Defensively, they're a bit of a rag tag unit outside of the top 4. Lots of options for that bottom pair. I certainly would'nt risk waiving Kulikov, OEL or Reilly just to give Benning or Kinnunen (who are waivers exempt) time. Although I'm not that familiar with Floridas cap situation or Benning/Kinnunen. Just seems like I wouldn't want to risk any of Kulikov, OEL or Reilly to waivers, even though they aren't irreplaceable guys. Just doesn't seem like a gamble they really need to take
