As a shorks fan, I would say pass. That 1.4 mill worth of wiggle room is worth more than a 7th. I would say yes to a 4th + 5th, which is more than you would offer. He isn't wanted or needed, so the price goes up.

It's not 1.4 unless Myers gets a spot. If he's good enough for S.J. to be in the top 6 great, he'd be useful and the Sharks would add a 7th. In reality, he's likely buried in the Sharks AHL team, in which case his cost is 250k against the cap. For that amount of cap for one year, Tampa might pay a 6th or maybe, a single 5th, but nowhere close to a 4th+5th.
