The only issue value wise with the trade is the 1st. If you take out the 1st and have Calgary receive the 3rd and 5th is a fair trade value wise but Lindholm isn't available in a trade for Nylander since it's counterproductive

I would say Dube and Liljegren have similar value so they cancel eachother out, and then Lindholm and Nylander cancel eachother out. The only difference is the upgrade to Tanev

No, you'd have to take out Lilly, Tanev and the 1st to make it fair... Nylander is a little bit better than Lindholm and that covers the picks and the gap from Brodie to Dube

Losing a trade isn't the best option

No Nylander simply scored more last year. Both players have only had 1 season over a ppg and 1 other season around a ppg.

Even with their difference in scoring last year they had very similar 5v5 offense. Nylander is better at producing than Lindholm but Lindholm is dar better defensively and plays the much more valuable position. Calgary would never trade Lindholm for Nylander 1 for 1 but they are similar value players in a vacuum
