Description

Sign Bear to a one-year "show me" deal that prorates his 2022 salary and place on LTI. Will need to make a move once he is ready for activation in December/January. This should allow for the team to consider trading Myers.

If Rathbone shows well in camp, he stays and will play on the 3rd pair, interchangeably with Wolanin. If he fails to show, he will either be traded prior to the start of the season or (worst case) waived to Abbotsford, allowing Hirose to make the squad.

Hoglander, Podkolzin, Beauvillier, Garland could be interchangeable parts in terms of playing up and down the lineup depending on their play.

I dont get how Bear is still unsigned, I mean...a deal like this makes complete sense
