Thankfully you are not the Rangers GM. Terrible trades for the Rangers.

I want to dump Panarin as much as anyone but I think he would command more than Tyler Johnson and some random picks. A first rounder at the least would be apart of the package.

If we could do this next summer, Sold! Although, we are stuck with Panarin. Luckily he guarantees a ppg in regular season. Not trading Garand either

Panarin’s salary is the biggest anchor around the neck of the Ranger’s ambition of a Stanley Cup. He’s great for offensive production during the season, but how many times will it take to see him disappear in the playoffs? He actually would be a perfect compliment to play with Bedard. Feed him the puck, have him score and gain confidence in his rookie season. Imagine what the Rangers could do with $11 million dollars freed up. Zegras maybe?

Panarin does not have positive value on a Hawks rebuilding team.

The Habs trade is absolutely horrendous for Montreal.
No sane Rangers GM would even consider calling Habs GM to offer him that deal, to risk being laughed at so hard as to muddy the relationship for years to come.

Habs already have a much taller goaltender that is dominating the AHL much more than lackluster Garand.
And to trade a very coveted young warrior on defense for that future ECHL player? Wow.

How in the world, without the most juvenile unchecked bias, can someone even try to justify that trade as being a "bad trade" forr New York????

LOL. Think what you want but Xhekaj wouldn't even break the Rangers top 5 on LD and the only thing he is more than bad at is fighting. He is ALL YOURS.

Like I said, no amount of justification works. But please, go on. It's typical on here. Why the hell would you want a player you disrespect and don't even need? Don't trade it then. Keep your average undersized 4th round goaltender who will never crack the NHL.
I guess we're good buddy right?

You couldn't care less for Xhekaj who can't even fight. I've got the perfect solution: don't trade for him. All is fine. Everyone is happy.
You dn't try to go get a garbage NHL defensemen who is a 5th D and the Habs don't get an average AHL gooaltender, Everyone keeps their garbage, Great. We agree.

Such an easy solution. I read your comment and it all makes sense: that trade is ridiculous right?
I agree.

Did I post this trade, buddy? The answer is NO. And I wouldn't, because Garand will end up being a much better goalie than Xhekaj will ever be a defenseman. So YOU should be happy because you get to keep your AHL defender, right?

Yes.
We're good my friend smile
Simple difference in opinion towards young players potential in the future, and since neither of us can read the future, neither of us can know for sure.
No hard feelings.
We can both agree to disagree.
All good. Have a good day man smile
