1st line
Dach works well with caufield, as does Zegras who can share the center role if needed
2nd line
Suzuki worked well with RPH and Anderson, however the skill of the line as a whole doesn't match the 1st line.
3rd line
Newhook benefits from Gallaghers experience and leadership, as does slafkovsky, and their youth drives him to do better. It reminds me vaguely of the Tatar-Danault-Gallagher
4th line
Evans is a perfect bottom line center Pearson earns his place and pezetta knocks heads.

Top pair
Guhle is THE man on D rn and Barrons defens8ve play lets his offense flourish as well as he can also put us some assists.
Middle pair
Matheson and Savard provide a secondary scoring and grit option respectively. Neither worked amazingly with Guhle last year but their experience cannot be denied.
Bottom pair
Xhekaj has quickly become a well known and feared inforcer who put up more points than you'd have thought and Harris provides a more defensive style to the game

Goalies
Montembeault wasn't considered a great goalie by other teams fans because the habs didn't do great as a team but he's proven he can be a starter.
Gibson provides a 1B option and if need be, can take the starter role and be better appreciated than he was in Anaheim.
