I (and I think all of us) would prefer to give Carter's spot to Zohorna, but it's not happening.
Otherwise, I can't think of anything I'd change once Jake is back.
3. Who is likely to have a breakout year or who will surprise in terms of point production? Who is advantaged by the line combinations?
4. Who is likely to have a bad year in point production?
5. How many games each goalie is likely to play?
1- Define ranking… but if you mean the metro division, my guess is 3rd
2-Sid, Geno, Tanger, Karlsson, Guentzel (Rakell until Guentzel is healthy)
3-my breakout year candidate would be O’Connor as he’s basically the best bottom-6 wing and when injuries strike he’ll probably get a top-6 look… also who else can really break out… advantages in lineup placement belong to newcomers Graves and Smith, both getting to play with a lot of talent on the ice.
4- Bad year… not sure about that but if I had to pick someone it would be NEDELJKOVIC bc he only had one good sample of games behind an objectively great defensive team… he will face a ton of odd man rushes this year and if Jarry gets hurt… even more so
5-jarry’s track record says he’ll get hurt a couple times so I’d say:
JARRY-52
NEDELJKOVIC-30

Yeah, Carter isn't coming out of the lineup, at least not right now. But I really do love our depth right now.

1) I'd say finishing 4th in the Metro.
2) This is going to be a fluid situation. I think the locks are Sid, Geno, Jake and EK. I'm not sure Letang will definitely stick.
3) I think Eller will be the surprise. I could see 15-ish goals and 40 point year. I think Letang is advantaged by having an upgrade of a partner in Graves, so we could see him get a bump in production.
4) Carter is the easy answer there, but I wouldn't expect much production from Nieto. That's not really what he was brought in for anyway, but I'd expect low output.
5) I think I'd like to see Jarry play around 45/50 games.
