The Devils would not make this trade, because they value Bahl more than any asset coming back from the Hurricanes in this proposed trade. My question is...if Carolina is as stacked defensively as everyone says they are, why would they need Bahl?

This trade, aside from being fanciful (because the Devils and Hurricanes aren't going to trade with each other right now), just doesn't make any sense from either side.

Why would the Devils downgrade like this? Especially against a team they will no doubt be battling over 1st place in the division for
