I've seen my team win four Stanley Cups dude. The Leafs have only won a round cus they have no defense. Moritz Seider would be the Leafs best dman right now and Simon Edvinsson is coming.

Wow, 4 cups all 15 plus years ago. That has so much to do with ristolainen being horrible or good, what an argument.

Red Wings having bad defense the last ten years has nothing to do with Rasmus Ristolainen either. The Leafs defense is awful and you were lucky to even win a round with it. Rasmus Ristolainen is big and physical which they need. No point in even responding to you on here going forward cus you're a Leafs homer that doesn't know hockey.

Lol, the leafs have literally had a top 5 defence by metrics for years, and have even been one of the better defensive teams in the playoffs the past while.
Risto is garbage, hes got the defensive iq of a garden slug. Big and physical? Yeah, and he's all the worse for it because he takes stupid penalties like they get him door prizes.
I love how you call me a homer but 90% of your combacks have been braging about your own teams 15 yeat old cups and your over rated defenders

I’m not gonna lie Risto has been absolutely horrible for years but he legit had a good year last year. He played like a decent 2nd pairing, solid 3rd pairing guy. He is still making like $3M per year too much, but last year was the first year he showed he could actually be an NHL defenseman. Just figured I would let you know lol. The deal is still crazy in favor of the Flyers and Risto is still probably a dump for now but Torts and the assistant coach focusing on the defense really helped out his game in the last year.
