Nashville is essentially accepting Faksa's contract at no additional cost here, it's a great trade for DAL but very lackluster for NSH.

it's essentially a second for Fabbro

B prospect and a fourth to dump Faksa to a team loaded with RD

Even with Faksa's contract I can't see Dallas moving him. He plays a key role on their PK.

I'd be open to giving them Fabbro but for a better return. They are within our division and Stranges is a longshot prospect tbh.

I will give you 3 stars for the trade scenario, only because it forces Suter to go in healthy scratch territory.

I think you could land Fabbro for a 2nd round pick, but you would need to add a better prospect than Stranges. That prospect should not be named Stankoven, Bourque or Bichsel.

As for Faksa, I don't see Nashville interested in him. In other words, you would need to do a trade with someone else to make room under the Cap.

If all goes according to plan for Dallas that is a very late second so it's closer to the 2nd & 4th for Fabbro which isn't horrid but it's still light to be taking in unnecessary salary as well.
