It's moot now with Werenski out for two weeks and Jiricek up. Apparently they were running 11F-7D at practice today. Someone else will inevitably get hurt tomorrow, too.

Yeah defenseman seem to take a real beating throughout the season. 8 or 9 NHL level defenseman seems to be a necessity nowadays.
