For the record I don’t think we should trade for garland but it seems fairly likely as they do not like roslovic at this point at all.

Columbus would need to retain at least $1.8M for it to fit under the salary cap for Vancouver. I doubt they do that for Peeke's contract though.

I think Vancouver would consider this. The only issue is that Peeke has been bad for some time. If CBJ retain for Peeke, then it's a no brainer for Vancouver.

I can’t see a world where garland comes with not assets and the jackets retain on peeke. At worst we get nothing coming back with garland and we retain on roslovic but that would be worst case.

No way we tie up 3 years of retention on Andrew peeke while getting a 3 year deal back in the trade.

I agree. I don't see CBJ retaining on Peeke. I think the only viable deal here is Roslovic ($1.8M retained) and Peeke for Garland.
