I am putting on my money on Kane going to Detroit at this point, it would be a great fit for both sides.

That said, not a chance Kane is ready until at least the end of November and more realistically after the all-star break. While he's ahead of schedule rehabbing from surgery, rushing him back would be a incredibly stupid as realistically he is there to provide a end of season playoff push for seeding purposes and of course playoff firepower.

Needless to say, Detroit makes a ton of sense at this point with the cap space, and pretty much a perfect fit on a line with Debrincat.

It's still extremely early so it depends on how Lucas Raymond plays. I need to see how he plays the next few weeks cus he normally drops off. I would put Kane with Larkin and DeBrincat, Raymond with Sprong.

Kane could end up using Detroit to drive his price up for other teams. Though Detroit has more Cap space than most except for Buffalo.

I don't know how real Kane's interest in Detroit is. Yzerman doesn't leak anything so if there's new information it's most likely coming from Kane's agent.

Seems like fans and media are connecting Detroit's interest in Kane with being reunited with Cat.
