Antonio Stranges…haven’t seen that name in a while. I remember when he was the next big thing…and publicly declined an invite to NTDP (and Michigan on same day). Makes you wonder where’d he be today….

But I would keep Smith instead of Bonino.

Also, I don’t think Carolina would accept that package. You would need to give them a better prospect and I doubt they would take Hakanpaa back. They let him go to free agency specifically because of the same reasons a lot of Stars’ fans wants to trade him. He is slow, no foot speed, cannot exit the zone with possession, poor stick handling skills. He is only serviceable during the PK.

That doesn’t get you Pesce. You have him second pair behind Nils tho, so maybe you don’t realize how good he is? Bonino isn’t better than Steel and Smith imo. Nils isn’t going from healthy scratch to top pair. I do think DeBoer needs to change some lines around but the top line should be left alone. Agree on the Surer buyout

And out of nowhere, he says, "I am going to OHL instead"

Some people reacted with, "its the start of the decline of NTDP". Others with, "he's choose poorly".
