Apparently/allegedly/from what I've heard, Mathieu Joseph has had a pretty decent start to the year. He could actually be valuable to a team like San Jose, which is simply trying to stay above water and hope to win at least 15 games this season. They're essentially guaranteed to finish last based on their start, so at least give their young guys something to look forward to coming to the rink, a guy who might score once every few games.

Got nothing against ottawa so would be good if they could unload him , for me if I'm acquiring him it would need to be a larger sample size

Gotta think MTL & OTT decline the moment "multi-year retention" is mentioned.

Neither of the team would retain for that many years but M.Joseph could be an interesting addition in the middle 6 group for mtl. He's not so old in fact almost the same age then the core group, he's a decent skater with good hand that could score sometimes. On a third line he could be fun to watch.


With the money save Ottawa could sign there player but I don't know if the fact that Pinto is suspended for 41 match would play in the balance.
